•On PCS 7 V6.x operator stations, single station systems and BATCH systems, you must notuse Microsoft Office in Runtime mode.
•For this, it is imperative also to refer to the notes in the "readme" file of your version of PCS 7.
•Microsoft Office must be installed beforePCS 7.
•The compatibility of Microsoft Office with PCS 7 has been tested only for the Office packages Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Notes on using remote software on PCS 7 stations
•As from PCS 7 V7.1 only the software "Microsoft Windows NetMeeting" is released for Remote Service access. pcAnywhere is no longer released for PCS 7 V7.1onwards.
•As from PCS 7 V7.0, the software "Microsoft Windows NetMeeting" is released for Remote Service access. You can find more information about this in the PCS 7 manual "PC Configuration and Authorization". More information on installing and configuring "Microsoft Windows NetMeeting" is also available on the Microsoft sites at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/154144/
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/158623/
•For versions earlier than PCS 7 V7.0, only pcAnywhere is released.
Basically the versions of pcAnywhere that work with PCS 7 are those on the relevant PCS 7 Toolset CDs/DVD or on a separate CD in the delivery package.
Make sure that you install pcAnywhere beforePCS 7. More information is also available in the "PCS 7 readme.wri" in section 1.4 and in the manual "PCS 7 - PC Configuration and Authorizations", section 3.8 "Notes on Additional and Help Programs" on the PCS 7 Toolset CDs/DVD.
•The pcAnywhere will be supplied as Host Version up to PCS 7 V6.1 SP2.
•The Hostversion of pcAnywhere must be installed on a PCS 7 station if that PCS 7 station is to be remote controlled by another PC station with pcAnywhere.
•The PC station that remote controls the PCS 7 station needs the full version of pcAnywhere for remote control. The full version of pcAnywhere is not released on PCS 7 systems and must therefore be installed on a PC that does not have PCS 7 installed on it.
If you wish to use the full version of pcAnywhere from Symantec, then you have to procure the software. You can also find further information in the "PCS7 readme.wri" file in section 1.4 on the PCS 7 Toolset CD/DVD.
